Programme
22/April
1. Changzhou Houde Renewable Resources Technology Co., Ltd.
Houde Renewable. Resources, founded in July 2014, is a national-level Specialized and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise providing recycling solutions for the semiconductor, integrated circuit, and power battery industries.
In the LFP battery recycling sector, Houde ranks among the Top 3 in China. The company has developed controlled-oxygen crushing and pyrolysis with charge, combined with precision separation technology, achieving recovery rates of over 99% for copper, aluminum, and black mass, and 95% for lithium.
It has also pioneered anode and cathode regeneration technologies, including gas-thermal purification of waste graphite and LFP cathode restoration, which shorten process steps while enhancing economic efficiency.
Its 50,000-pack-per-year demonstration project achieves 98% comprehensive resource utilization, 40% lower energy consumption, and 60% carbon emission reduction.
2. Jiangsu Jiecheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, Jiecheng has established industrial bases across the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Its operations cover the entire recycling chain—from battery collection, storage, and cascade utilization to dismantling, regeneration, hydrometallurgy, and material restoration—serving major clients such as BYD, EVE Energy, Sunwoda, Chery, and XPeng.
The Jiangsu base features a 30,000–50,000 t/y design capacity for battery pre-treatment. Using AI-assisted robotic dismantling and mechanical crushing with dry separation, the plant achieves a ≥95% metal recovery rate while avoiding wastewater generation. Phase I of the regeneration line is operational, with an annual capacity of 10,000–20,000 tons of spent lithium-ion batteries.
23/April
3. Zhejiang Tianneng New Materials Co., Ltd.
Tianneng New Materials, a subsidiary of Tianneng Group specializing in lithium battery recycling. The project integrates repurposing (2 GWh/year) and recycling (50,000 t/y), combining crushing & separation with hydrometallurgical recovery to achieve recovery rates of ≥90% for lithium and ≥95% for cobalt and nickel.
The core facility is operational, equipped with waste gas and wastewater treatment systems, and listed on China’s national white list. Leveraging Tianneng’s strong battery industry chain and partnerships with automakers such as BYD and Geely, the company plans to expand capacity to 100,000 t/y, establishing a closed-loop system for the entire battery life cycle.
4. Zhejiang New Era Zhongneng Technology Co., Ltd.-Shaoxing Base
New Era Zhongneng is a leading enterprise in the cascade utilization and recycling of retired lithium batteries, holding dual MIIT white-list licenses. Its Shaoxing Base serves as a major production and R&D hub, covering battery dismantling, black mass production, and hydrometallurgical extraction to form a complete resource recovery chain. With an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of spent batteries, the plant produces cobalt salts, nickel salts, manganese oxides, lithium carbonate, and iron phosphate. The facility features high automation, enclosed operations, low emissions, and intelligent monitoring. The base also hosts a provincial R&D center and expert workstation, collaborating with Central South University and Wuhan University of Technology to advance recycling technologies and promote green, low-carbon development.
24/April
5. Quzhou Huayou Recycling Technology Co., Ltd.
Huayou Recycling, a wholly owned subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt, specializes in high-value recycling of retired power batteries. Its Quzhou base, with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons, uses green hydrometallurgy to recover lithium, nickel, and cobalt, reintegrating them into Huayou’s global materials chain. Key technologies include intelligent sorting (99% recovery, >98% Cu/Al purity), selective leaching with ≥92% lithium and ≥98% nickel/cobalt recovery, and closed-loop regeneration feeding ternary precursor production. The facility features zero wastewater discharge, exhaust gas reuse, and MIIT Green Supply Chain certification, serving clients like CATL and LG Energy Solution. Phase I (60,000 t/y) is fully operational; Phase II focuses on solid-state battery recycling.
April 24 afternoon & night: back to Shanghai, and enjoy a Huangpu River Night Cruise, admiring the stunning skyline of the Bund and Lujiazui.
